Professor UADY
Jessica Canto has a major in Chemical Industrial Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY); a Master in Sciences from CINVESTAV of Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN); a Ph.D. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from UPAEP University. Dr. Canto has a strong experience as academic coordinator of postgraduate studies in different knowledge institutions located in the State of Yucatán. At the same time, she is an evaluator of National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico in the area of Engineering and Technology; also, she is evaluator of the Engineering Teaching Accreditation Board (CACEI) and the National System of Accreditation of Higher Education of Costa Rica. Dr. Canto is a founder member of the Mexican Logistics and Supply Chain Association (AML) where she serves as Coordinator for the Southeast region. She has worked in industry as analyst of projects and consultant in the areas of agribusiness, logistics and transport. She is part of the GETIN, which is a group of international linkers from different institutions of higher education and research in Mexico and in Germany. Dr. Jessica Canto frequently publishes in scientific journals and in globally recognized scientific conferences as the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CiLOG). She has published two books and two chapters of books related to entrepreneurship in Logistics SME.
