Alfredo Bueno has a major in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora (ITSON). In 2013, he received a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Science from COMIMSA (National Council of Science and Technology), Mexico. In his Ph.D. thesis deals with risk propagation modelling in export-oriented supply chains.He has participated as part of important research projects as the first national survey on supply chain security, which was supported by the National Council of Science and Technology as well as by the Secretariat of Economy of Mexico. Dr. Bueno is a founding member of the Mexican Logistics and Supply Chain Association (AML). Dr. Bueno frequently publishes his research results in top scientific journals as Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, Journal of Applied Research and Technology, and in globally recognized scientific conferences as the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CiLOG).
