Eric Moreno

Senior Researcher IMT

 

Eric Moreno is a Senior Researcher of the Instituto Mexicano del Transporte (IMT). He has a major in Mathematics from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa; a M.Sc. in Operations Research from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and a Ph.D. in Transportation form the Institute for Transport Studies at University of Leeds (UK). Dr. Moreno is a Visiting Professor of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ). Dr. Moreno is a member of the Surface Working Group (SWG), and of the Strategic Planning Committee in the North American Transportation Statistics Interchange (NATSI) where yearly collaborate top technical teams from Mexico, USA and Canada. His research interest are mathematic modelling of transportation systems, freight transportation, and applications of operations research and statistics to transportation. Dr. Moreno counts with a large number of IMT technical publications. Dr. Moreno frequently publishes his research results in top scientific journals as Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, and European Journal of Operational Research,and in globally recognized scientific conferences as the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CiLOG).
