María Paz Acosta

Professor ITSON

 

Dr. Maria Paz Guadalupe Acosta Quintana, is a Full-time Professor of the Industrial EngineeringDepartmentat Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora (ITSON). She has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering; a M.Sc. in Systems Engineering, and a PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management form UPAEP University which was obtained with honors. Dr. Acosta has been responsible for projects with internal founded by ITSON and collaborates in research projects of the Academic Corps of Productive Chains. She is an Academic Member of the Mexican Logistics and Supply Chain Association (AML) since 2016. Her research line is in the distribution of products using mathematical modelling. She has directed research related to the scheduling of itineraries, determination of fleet of cargo trucks, service performance measurement in transport of passengers and parcels. Dra. Acostafrequently publishes his research results in top scientific journals and in globally recognized scientific conferences as the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CiLOG).
