René López

Professor UADY

 

René López holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with international experience. Dr. López is member of the National System of Researchers of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico. He currently works as Associate Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY). His research interest areas are related to the themes of the management of technological innovation and aspects of sustainability for the competitive development of different types of industries. Dr. López is currently member of the Biodiesel Cluster that is driven by the Centro Mexicano de InnovaciónenEnergía Bio (CEMIE-Bio Cluster), and where he participates as part of the biodiesel Life Cycle Analysis project. In addition, he contributes to the research line on Sustainable Supply Chains within the National Laboratory for Transportation Systems and Logistics at the UADY section. Dr. López has experience in the development of expert systems, collective intelligence, the use of different Web Technologies and knowledge management topics.
